Writer’s Block
This weekend is my annual dance recital and I cannot come up with anything decent to write in the program for my director’s notes. There is so much that I want to say…how we chose their music, how the songs inspired all of us, how the students were involved in the choreography, how much I enjoyed working with the kids, how much they’ve grown this year, how I saw every single one of them achieve goals that they had previously thought impossible…way too much for the back of one program. How am I supposed to summarize a year’s worth of experiences and milestones into two paragraphs that very few people will read anyway? Oy.
